ABC- Associates of Boone Center
The ABC (Associates of Boone Center) group is an advocacy group of parents, guardians, friends and siblings of the adults with disabilities employed by BCI. The group meets throughout the year to plan events and conduct fundraisers on behalf of the employees of BCI.
Some of the events the ABC group sponsors each year include the May Day Dance, Halloween Luncheon and Christmas Party. A highlight of the year is the Butter Bread fundraiser held in the fall. All of the proceeds of the ABC fundraising events go to provide programs, services and events that directly benefit the employees of BCI.
The ABC group also serves as a support group for parents, guardians and caregivers of the adults with disabilities employed by BCI. All friends and family are encouraged to join the group and become involved.
